About me

Hey, I’m Corbin — a DevOps engineer by trade, a storyteller by accident, and someone who’s constantly chasing growth both inside and outside of tech. This blog is where I document the wins, the failures, and the in-between moments that shape my career and my life
💼 Professional Journey
I started my career wrestling with legacy systems and build pipelines that seemed to have a mind of their own.
Over the years, I’ve moved from surviving the chaos to building clean, modern infrastructures with Azure, Terraform, and automation at the core. These posts are as much a way to reflect on how far I’ve come as they are a space to share insights with anyone walking a similar path.
🌍 Life and Other experiences
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me flipping into foam pits at gymnastics, travelling the world, dancing in outrageous outfits at festivals, planning the next big trip, or tinkering with side projects like RaveHub — my attempt to make rave and festival planning less of a logistical nightmare and more of an adventure.
I’ve found that the discipline of training, the energy of music, and the curiosity of travel all feed back into how I approach challenges in both my personal and professional journey.
🪞 Reflections
If there’s one thing this journey has taught me, it’s that growth rarely happens in straight lines. The hardest problems — in tech or in life — are often the ones that force you to slow down, rethink, and come back stronger.
For me, reflection isn’t just about looking back on mistakes or successes, it’s about connecting the dots: how a late-night debugging session taught me patience, how training at gymnastics reminded me that progress comes in small, shaky steps, or how a music festival showed me the value of community and shared energy.
This blog is partly a space for those reflections — the lessons that don’t always fit neatly into a Jira ticket or a project plan, but matter just as much

This site isn’t a highlight reel — it’s an ongoing story. If you’re into tech, growth, and a few unexpected detours along the way, then welcome aboard. Let’s figure this out together.
